Chris Chen
Chief Executive Officer
Chris has extensive experience with hospital revenue cycle management, consumer financial services and consumer debt negotiation. Prior to co-founding Vitality, Chris was a Financial Controller and Manager at one of the largest hospital revenue cycle outsourcing companies. During this period, Chris led the revenue reporting for over $400 million of revenue and operational process improvements to increase cash collections for eight hospitals at one of the largest hospital systems in the country. Chris previously worked at Freedom Financial Network, one of the largest consumer debt negotiation companies in the country. Prior to Freedom Financial, Chris was an investment professional at CIVC Partners focused on managing and investing in financial and business services companies. Chris began his career as an investment banker with Donaldson, Lufkin Jenrette. Chris has a BA with Distinction in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Joe Siedel
Chief Operating Officer
Joe has worked with multiple Fortune 500 and mid-market companies designing operations, implementing process improvements and providing strategic consulting. Prior to co-founding Vitality, he worked for Bain & Company, a leading global management consulting firm. While at Bain, Joe helped manage operational teams involved in customer relationship management, call center programs, IT implementations, pricing programs and process redesign at numerous corporations. Joe has extensive analytical experience with large corporate data sets. Joe previously worked in business development for National Geographic Television & Film. Joe graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and an MA in Sociology. He also holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
